Who we are and how to contact us
Churchill Knights is a trading name of Invercel Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 14748804. Invercel Ltd is the data controller: it decides why and how your information is used.
For privacy questions or requests, email info@churchillknights.com, call 020 7993 0102, or write to Invercel Ltd, Privacy enquiries, 20–22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU, our registered office.
What information we collect
We receive information you provide through our forms, by email, by telephone or during follow-up discussions. This may include:
- Your name, email, telephone number, organisation and role.
- Your enquiry, the service or robot you are interested in, requirements, budget, location and timing.
- For education enquiries: institution, postcode, programme, age or course group, learner numbers, preferred dates, format and learning aims.
- Correspondence, quotations and arrangements relating to your request.
Our hosting and security services also process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, browser information and pages requested. The enquiry service uses a protected representation of your IP address and temporary security tokens to limit spam and repeated submissions.
Required fields are marked on each form. Providing information is voluntary, but we need enough contact and enquiry information to respond. Optional fields can be left blank.
Education enquiries and young people
Our education forms are for staff and other adults arranging provision. Please give information about the group and its learning aims, without pupil or student names, medical information or other sensitive personal details. We do not request individual learner records through these forms.
If a programme needs additional learner information, accessibility arrangements or safeguarding information, we will agree an appropriate way to handle it with the institution before collection.
Why we use your information
- To answer enquiries and discuss suitable services. We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us and maintaining relevant business relationships. This includes speaking with staff on behalf of their organisation.
- To prepare or deliver an agreement with you personally. Where applicable, we use information to take steps at your request before a contract, or to perform that contract.
- To protect our websites and manage problems. Our legitimate interests include preventing abuse, maintaining reliable services and dealing with complaints or legal claims.
- To meet legal requirements. Where applicable, this includes accounting records and responding to legally required requests.
Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. These forms do not operate a mailing list, and we do not sell enquiry information.
Who receives information
Enquiries go to our Churchill Knights business inbox. We use service providers for website hosting, security, email delivery and mailbox storage. Our websites use OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure; Resend delivers form submissions to our inbox.
Information may also be shared with a specialist involved in your requested work where necessary and discussed with you, professional advisers where needed, or authorities where the law requires it. We limit what is shared to the purpose involved.
Processing outside the UK
Our providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Resend identifies the US as its main processing location. Its data processing terms include contractual safeguards for UK transfers: standard contractual clauses with the UK Addendum.
Our hosting providers also publish transfer protections in their OpenAI data processing terms and Cloudflare data processing terms. Overseas processing is subject to the applicable provider arrangements and UK transfer requirements, using recognised adequacy arrangements or appropriate contractual safeguards. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your enquiry or a copy of them.
How long information is kept
Enquiry correspondence is kept while we handle your request and any follow-up you have asked for. When an enquiry closes, retention depends on whether there is ongoing work, an unresolved complaint or dispute, or a legal requirement to retain particular records. Our retention rule is to delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed for those purposes.
Where an enquiry becomes a contract, relevant records are kept for administering that relationship and any applicable accounting or legal obligations. Provider delivery records, security logs and backups follow the relevant service’s retention arrangements. You can ask us about the records held for your enquiry and request deletion where your rights apply.
The forms do not save enquiry text in browser storage or a separate website database. Submitted information is held in email systems; closing the web page does not delete a submitted enquiry.
AI and automated decisions
These enquiry forms do not send your message to an AI model for an automated response. We do not use the forms or robot matching tool to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you. Data arrangements for any separately agreed AI, software or robotics project will be addressed as part of that project.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access your personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict its use or receive a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful use.
Email info@churchillknights.com to exercise a right or raise a concern. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month; if a permitted extension or an exception applies, we will explain it.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. You do not have to contact us first, although we welcome the opportunity to help.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page when our services or use of information changes. The date above shows the latest revision. Additional privacy information will be provided where a particular service needs it.
